Sorry, we lied! There’s no stinker, just four chunks of artisan cheese, three accompaniments; two boxes of award winning crackers and one perfect jar of chutney… we have lift off!

We’ve put together four of our family favourites that are perfect for everyone’s taste, young or old.

Starting with the multi award winning oozy Donge Brie de Meaux; the French classic. Then a blue, Colston Bassett Stilton, still lovingly made by hand in Nottingham; salty and crumbly.  Pitchfork Cheddar follows, for those who like their cheddar to bite back.  Topped off with the excellent Single Gloucester from Charles Martell; be warned, this cheese is dangerously moorish!

All this is accompanied by some delicious Rosebud Preserves ‘Ampleforth beerfruit Chutney’ and two boxes of Peter’s Yard Sourdough Crackers.

Donge Brie De Meaux

Soft white bloomy rind around a deliciously creamy centre. Warm mushroomy overtones with a nutty sweetness like fresh hazelnuts from the tree.


Colston Bassett Stilton

Both sweet and salty in perfect balance with a brilliance of blue veining running right through to its crumbly core.


Pitchfork Cheddar by the Trethowan Brothers

This exceptional cheddar has a dense, creamy texture and is distinguished by its full-bodied flavour with a succulent and lactic bite.  A grown up cheddar for a discerning palate; its subtle complexity deserves time to develop in the mouth, giving of hints of toasted seeds, fruit and drifts of autumn leaves.

Peter's Yard 'Spelt & Fig' Sourdough Crispbread

These Spelt & Fig sourdough crispbreads are inspired by Peter’s Yard love of Sweden, the home of crispbread. Using simple, natural ingredients including organic spelt flour, organic fresh milk, dried fig pieces and their precious sourdough; fermented for 16 hours before each batch is made.

Baked until golden and crisp, they are the natural choice for a salty blue cheese.

Peter’s Yard charcoal & rye sourdough crispbreads are inspired by their huge love of Swedish baking. Using simple, natural ingredients including organic flour, fresh milk and their precious sourdough; fermented for 16 hours before each batch is made.

Baked until crisp, they are the natural choice for a soft goats’ cheese or a ripe Brie.
