An elegant, balanced vintage port with good depth produced by the legends that are Niepoort. It’s tannins have melted and already it is showing some good secondary flavours moving from ripe plums to candied figs. Perfect for drinking now.
This vintage port was bottled in September 1999. It was not filtered and will therefore form sediment. To optimise the drinking pleasure this wine should be decanted.
