L'Affinage Du Fromage

Roquefort

Ewe's cheese • Semi soft, Soft • French

£6.20 per 100g

Price range: £15.50 through £62.00

Probably France’s most famous cheese and believed to be a favourite of King Charlemagne, Roquefort was the first cheese to receive an AOC in 1925. It is a seasonally produced cheese and ours is made by the 4th generation of the Coulet family in Roquefort sur Soulzon, Aveyron. Milk comes from the local breed of red Lacaune sheep, a highly prized dairy breed. Our wheels of Roquefort are specially selected for us to ensure a sweet, fondant body, delicate animal flavours and salty, syrupy blue.

(We apologise for the stock photo, we will update with one of our own mouthwatering shots as soon as we can!)
