The famous pink , medium dry/sweet sparkling wine mostly consumed at Christmas parties in France’s gastronomic capital, Lyon. This wine hails from the tiny appellation of Bugey (across from the Mont du Chat in Savoie). It is exquisitely sweet and pours a pleasurable shade of magenta in the glass whilst conjuring up vivid aromas of purple wild flowers, raspberry patch and mouth watering grapefruit zest. The palette is light and fresh with flavours of sweet strawberries, raspberries and crunchy blueberries on the attack and then finishes with a thirst quenching mineral acidity. Serve this with ALL cheese!
