Location:
Ditcheat, Shepton Mallet
Tasting notes:
Crunchy, complex, sweet and tangy – it’s also rectangular, but we’re not fromage snobs here at L’affinage. There’s a place for this cheese, perhaps when you want some sneaky cheese and biscuits at the end of your night with a fruity red. Maybe you have friends over on Sunday (with their hungry children) and want something a little bit more special but which equally won’t leave you ashen faced when the children descend upon the lunch table. Or perhaps you’re past all that, the fridge is now your own again and you just fancy a cheeky vintage cheddar whenever you darn well like. Whichever it is, this is definitely the cheese for you, you won’t be disappointed.
