Unashamedly Tim & Angela Homewood have named Aveline the favourite of the cheeses they produce! Named after ‘Aveline’s Hole’, the site of one of the oldest ceremonial burial grounds known, dating back back some 10,000 years. But why the hole? To promote even ripening throughout the cheese, and it works! Beautiful, downy and ripening from the rind; Avenline starts off fresh and mild reaching full maturity at 3-4 weeks.
