For anyone that has tried Wedmore, it’s difficult to find a more irresistible cheese, but then the clever team at Westcombe went a step closer to reaching Wedmore Nirvanna…… smoked Wedmore!
Whole Wedmore rounds are smoked over cherrywood for 12 hours. Because of their large round size, the smoke doesn’t permeate the whole way through but imbues a lovely bonfire-like fragrance to the softer side under the rind which is truly delicious. We think once you’ve tried this, you’ll be a smoked cheese fan for life!
