Tasting notes:
Tangy, tasty, nutty with delicious dried fruit flavours. A gratifying unique aromatic intensity. Made by the extremely ancient, famous method of laying grapes out on straw mats to shrivel in the Autumn sun, before pressing or from ‘passenile fruit’. The resulting raisined grapes are too sweet to ferment to dryness. It is a dessert wine which requires passion and patience in equal measure from the winemaker.
